ISOLCELL has developed a new ethylene scrubber with a low energy consumption provided with a revolutionary heat recovery; this particular system minimizes the difference of temperature beteween the incoming and the outgoing air from the scrubber.
The DEOXYL LE removes the ethylene available in the atmosphere, by means of a system of forced air recirculation over a catalytic bed kept at an average temperature of 250°C. The process, according to the reaction C2H4 + 3 O2 > 2 CO2 + 2 H2O is characterized by high conversion efficiency of the catalyst, which is suitably devised for this purpose.
The superior quality of the catalyst used is proven by the fact that the yield remains unchanged over time, even in machines that have been in service for over 25 years. Furthermore, the high quality of the components used in the Deoxyl units guarantees maintenance-free operation even in extreme operating conditions.
The device’s revolutionary heat recovery and air circulation system ensures that the heat introduced into the cell by the Deoxyl LE (Low Energy) is irrelevant. Also, thanks to the rapid heating of the catalytic converter, which can reduce the energy consumption in the ignition phase by 50%, Isolcell’s ethylene catalytic converter is recognized as the most efficient in the industry.
Guarantee of flow rate and flexibility of use
Another innovation of the LE model as compared to other catalytic purifiers commonly found on the market is the presence of an inverter that guarantees its performance, maintaining both the nominal flow even in the presence of significant back pressure, and flexibility of use, since it can change the flow rate in relation to the number of cells connected or the amount of product stored, in order to increase the efficiency or to reduce consumption.
