Products / services

FAM manufactures Precision Industrial Cutters for food: fruits, vegetables, potatoes, meat, cheese, fish, and any other food that needs to be cut.

In vegetables FAM has equipment to cut lettuce, zucchini, eggplant, leek, celery and rhubarb, carrot, onion, various types of cabbage, cucumber, green beans, radicchio, peppers, etc.


PRODUCT 1: FAM CENTRIS 315
The FAM Centris 315 is designed for small to mid-sized companies looking for perfect cut quality and speed while minimizing costs and decreasing the amount of time to complete each job.
The machine requires limited floor space and offers great flexibility in the different cuts with a variety of products. All are sliced or shredded very precisely and clean due to the unique cutting method and high-quality blades used. It is a precise slicer, with very little or no yield loss and an increased product shelf-life as a result.

More attractive features of FAM Centris 315 are:

  • It is the most operator-friendly, entry-level food cutting machine; only a reduced operator training is required,
  • The innovative new lightweight stainless steel cutting head (*) can be removed and cleaned in no time,
  • The innovative and reduced diameter cutting head (*) has a pre-set cut size and will immediately position the product for optimal cutting,
  • Inexpensive razor-sharp throw-away blades are used, produced by Stumabo,
  • Improved consistency of slice thickness resulting in higher quality product, leading to more satisfied customers and increased sales,
  • Interchangeability of cutting heads (and cut shapes) without efforts, allowing you to carry out many orders in a very short period of time.
  • The product is fed through the in-feed chute and enters into the cutting compartments of the rotating impeller (*). There, it is held against the inner surface of the cutting head assembly (*) by centrifugal force.
  • The cutting head assembly (*) consists of 12 individual stationary cutting stations. Slices or shreds are produced as product passes each knife in a smooth and uninterrupted manner. Length is controlled by the input product size.
  • The cut product is collected through the central discharge.
  • The interchangeable cutting heads (*) offer flexibility in all cuts and shapes.
