Field Days in United Kingdom

October 10th and 11th

During 2 days, the United-Kingdom SAKATA team organised its annual open field days to promote Sakata varieties. 145 visitors, mostly growers, processors and packet seed trade attended this event and took time to share with the team and walk around to view the trial plots.

This year the crops highlighted were : broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, pumpkin & squash, spinach, swiss chard, red beet, bunching onion, daikon radish, pak choi and turnip.

The field days have been very successful, field plots and products displayed were of excellent quality. Good contact was made with customers from around the United-Kingdom and Southern Ireland as well as with representatives from Norway and Denmark.
