Nondestructively gauge ripeness and more accurately predict harvest dates

Unveiled this week at the Tropical Fruit CongressFelix Instruments is proud to present their newest product, the Avocado Quality Meter.  Due to ship in the Summer of 2018, Felix Instruments is taking pre-orders for this amazing new tool.

The Avocado Quality Meter will accurately gauge ripeness and dry matter within avocado ONLY, using NIR spectral analysis at a much lower price point than its parent instrument, the Produce Quality Meter.

The Avocado Quality Meter comes with Fruit Maps. Are you a fan of our FREE Interactive Harvest Map that allows you to view your farm and orchard ripeness in REAL TIME from anywhere in the world? Great news! The Avocado Quality Meter will also have this feature!

And, also good news for mango growers. Mango Quality Meter is on the way. A Mango Quality Meter is in the works at Felix Instruments! As the F-750 Produce Quality Meter was originally created with and for mangoes, Felix Instruments is applying that wealth of information to create a tool just for you.

The 1st picture shows the Felix Instrument stand at the Tropical Fruit Congress, with a continuous stream of visitors interested in the Quality and Gas measurement options; Leonard Felix,in front, and Julie Felix attended the visitors.
