Agrosta Roxanne, a versatile colorimeter for fruits and vegetables

agrosta-roxanne

Agrosta Roxanne is a colorimeter specially designed by AGROSTA to measure in the visible and infrared range.

This device allows you to very accurately classify your samples in a multitude of sectors: food, research, pharmaceutical and chemical (for example, classify fruits by their ripeness...).

Agrosta Roxanne can detect differences that the human eye cannot see and therefore the classification of her samples is extremely fine.

The new version measures the RGB (between 0 and 255) as well as the spectrum values for 9 wavelengths including IR.

Watch the video on how Agrosta Roxanne first learned the CTIFL color chart for strawberries and then measured a batch of strawberries according to this chart.

It is possible to successfully register a color chart of paper with fairly opaque fruits (such as strawberries, avocados, or cherries), but not recommended with semi-transparent fruits such as tomatoes.

For the tomatoes, Roxanne has to learn the actual fruit maturity levels that can be exported to Excel. The color of each sample is displayed on the screen (bottom of the window).

Roxanne is a good solution for measuring the color of cherries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, apricots, apples, pears, onions, bananas, and many more. Its precision is extreme and it is provided with a calibration mirror.
