Our product portfolio begins with Afondo, a food-grade, edible coating already available in key markets across the European Union, Latin America, and Africa. Unlike conventional waxes, Afondo not only reduces water loss during storage and transport but also lowers fungal pressure by forming a physical barrier on the surface of the fruit. This allows growers to significantly reduce or even eliminate the use of post-harvest fungicides, while extending cold storage shelf life by up to three weeks and retail shelf life by an additional two to four days.
AgroSustain collaborates with leading producers of exotic crops and remains open to new partnerships with growers seeking sustainable ways to maintain quality while meeting strict MRL requirements.
