UNITEC at Fruit Attraction 2026: technology and “augmented intelligence”

Customers can do theirs better. UNITEC technologies can be applied to over 50 types of fruit, meeting the growing demand for precision from the market, the processing industry and large-scale retailers, while helping to satisfy the expectations of the end consumer.

At booths C23 and B23 – Hall 7 UNITEC will showcase some of its technologies:

• UNI SMART PACKER - ROBOT FOR PACKING - UNI ROBOTICS brand of UNITEC presents an innovative packing solution, a phase of the process where the use of robotics is becoming increasingly common. UNI SMART PACKER reduces the need for labor in repetitive and high-intensity tasks, while ensuring consistent production. This system combines efficiency and gentleness, protecting the package during handling. In addition, its flexibility helps to quickly switch from one size to another and adapt to different sizes of clamshells and heat-sealed trays.
• UNI SAMPLE AI blueberry represents a new generation system for automatic sampling.  Thanks to advanced optical vision technology, the system analyzes and selects fruit directly in the crates, by examining the surface layer and providing all the data needed for a correct and optimized management of batches, without additional handling. 
• UNI SMART TRAY FILLER combined with AUTOMATIC CELL TRAY DENESTER Automatic filler designed to pack different varieties of fruit such as apples, peaches and nectarines into cell trays or cell trays placed inside crates. Fruit picking and placement into cell trays are performed thanks to a multi-head robot with a “pick and place” function that can adjust the coordinates of picking/placement based on the size and format of the package being handled.  
• VISION 4.0 AI: the artificial intelligence that redefines external quality selection standards.  VISION 4.0 AI is the latest evolution of UNITEC’s quality selection platform: an AI-powered system capable of identifying and separating external defects with unprecedented accuracy. Result: perfectly sized fruit and vegetables, greater consistency in quality standards, and faster operations.
• UNIQ systems: technology that gets to the heart of every fruit UNITEC lines equipped with UNIQ technology enable highly reliable internal quality selection while fully preserving the integrity of each fruit.
• Line for table grapes UNI SPEED PACK with Grape VISION AI and UNI GRAPES PUNNET FILLER GRAPE VISION AI, the vision system integrated with UNI SPEED PACK technology, allows the sorting of each cluster of table grapes - white, red, or black - using adjustable parameters to achieve uniformity in terms of quality, size, and color within the same package, while fully preserving the integrity of the product. Once combined, clusters are transferred to the UNI GRAPES PUNNET FILLER, the automatic punnet packing solution suitable for multiple formats and target weights.
