Urschel will participate in SIAL Canada, taking place from April 29 to May 1, 2026, at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal. The company will be located at Booth 2419, where it will showcase its latest food cutting technology solutions.
Among the featured machines are the Sprint 2 Dicer and the E TranSlicer Cutter, designed to help processors achieve precise cuts, reduce waste and maximize yield in continuous production lines.
The Sprint 2 Dicer provides continuous two- or three-dimensional cutting for uninterrupted processing. Slice thickness, crosscut and circular knife spindles can be adjusted to produce a wide range of dices, crumbles, granulations or strips.
As product moves through the process, precise cuts are achieved through the coordinated action of the crosscut knife spindle with the other cutting components, creating a compact and efficient cutting zone.
The E TranSlicer Cutter specializes in precision cutting of elongated products, offering high versatility. It is available with optional static hold-down, passive top belt or powered top-belt assemblies to maintain a constant product feed. Its interchangeable stainless steel cutting options include slicing wheels, patented MicroSlice and julienne knives. The number, position, pitch and type of knives are coordinated with the cutting wheel and feed belt speed to determine the final cut size. Combination wheels with slicing and julienne knives can also be used to produce fine strips.
SIAL Canada is considered one of the country’s leading international food industry events. It brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors from 44 countries, offering a platform to explore products, markets and technological solutions. Urschel stated that its goal at the trade fair is to showcase solutions that help processors find machinery suited to more efficient and profitable production operations.
