In 2026, Bizerba celebrates its 160th anniversary, marking a history shaped by the development of weighing, slicing, inspection and labelling technologies for the food industry. The company continues to focus on industrial process innovation and adapting its equipment to production requirements.
Its solutions for food manufacturers include the PAS-I CleanCut system, designed to apply linerless labels in different formats, including C-Wrap and Full-Wrap. By eliminating the traditional backing paper, this technology avoids the waste associated with that material and makes better use of label rolls.
The system incorporates automation features to facilitate changeovers between products and formats. According to Bizerba’s published technical information, it can reach speeds of up to 120 packages per minute, depending on configuration and operating conditions.
The development of these solutions reflects the growing importance of automation, labelling accuracy and reducing residual materials on food production lines.
