New solutions for citrus de-greening

Catalytic Generators, one of the leading companies in ethylene solutions,  has released a brochure highlighting the features of two of its products: the Citrus ethylene generator and Ethy-Gen II, a solution designed for ethylene generation.

These products prioritize operator safety while ensuring a constant and pure supply of ethylene. However, their greatest advantage is their versatility. 

The Citrus generator is a mobile unit which allows the operator to adjust ethylene concentration, making it fully adaptable to any type of ripening chamber and eliminating the need for a gas supply system and on-site gas storage.

Citrus is small and easy to handle, weighing just 4.5 kg and measuring 31 cm x 24 cm x 25 cm. In 12 hours, it can generate approximately 0.386 m³ from 1 L of Ethy-Gen II, although the conversion rate of Ethy-Gen II to ethylene is adjustable, ranging from 2 L to 2 mL every 24 hours, allowing manufacturers to tailor the system perfectly to the needs of the chamber and produce.
