Fruit Attraction, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, has opened the registration period for a new edition of the Best Stand Awards, an initiative sponsored by WAH that recognises the creativity, innovation and commitment to sustainability of exhibiting companies.
Applications may be submitted until 2 September and are open to all exhibiting companies at the next edition of the trade fair that participate with a free-design stand.
These awards aim to highlight the efforts of companies to offer quality exhibition spaces, capable of attracting the attention of professional visitors and reinforcing brand positioning within the event.
The awards are structured into four categories: Best Design, which will assess the aesthetics, construction quality and functionality of the stand; Most Original Stand, focused on creativity and visual impact; Most Sustainable Stand, recognising the responsible use of materials and environmental commitment; and Public Favourite Stand, which will be awarded by direct vote of visitors during the trade fair, from 6 to 8 October.
The jury is made up of renowned professionals from the fields of design, architecture, gastronomy, communication and the trade fair sector, including Romina Barbieri Petrelli, from Ro Barbieri architecture studio; Felipe Medina, Secretary General Technical of ASEDAS; Rodrigo de la Calle, chef; Esther Sánchez Lastra, from ESL Diseño de Interiores; Sofía Alonso, trade fair design at IFEMA MADRID; Alfonso Barajas, artistic director; Santiago Quiroga, Director of Quality, Sustainability and Compliance at IFEMA MADRID; Joana Gutiérrez, Quality and Sustainability Manager at IFEMA MADRID; and Luis B. Martín, Technical Director of FEPEX.
The jury’s decision will be announced on Thursday, 8 October, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fruit Forum (Hall 3), during an event in which the winners will be announced after the presentation of the finalists in each category.
With this call, Fruit Attraction reinforces its commitment to promoting innovation, design and sustainability, key elements in the evolution of the sector.
Fruit Attraction 2026 will be held from 6 to 8 October at IFEMA MADRID, with particularly positive participation forecasts, pointing to more than 2,500 companies, a total occupancy of 162,000 m2 across 10 halls and attendance by more than 121,000 professionals from over 150 countries.
