ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 has opened online registration for its next edition, which will take place from 2 to 4 September at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. The trade fair, focused on the international fresh fruit and vegetable business in Asia, introduces a new buyer registration system and an integrated matchmaking platform this year, designed to facilitate contact between professional buyers and exhibiting companies before the event begins.

The 19th edition of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA will bring together professionals from the fresh produce sector, including importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, logistics operators, packaging companies, technology providers and businesses linked to the supply chain. According to the organisers, the event will feature more than 760 exhibitors and participation from over 80 countries.

A new system to plan meetings before the trade fair

One of the main new features of the 2026 edition will be the new buyer programme, aimed at professionals from distribution, import, retail, wholesale, the food industry and the HoReCa sector. Registered buyers will be able to access FreshMatch, a matchmaking tool that will be available from June and will allow them to schedule one-to-one meetings with exhibitors before the trade fair takes place.

The aim of this platform is to create a more organised and productive contact agenda, allowing buyers to view company profiles, select potential business partners and prepare their meetings in Hong Kong in advance. For exhibitors, the system also seeks to improve visibility among professional buyers interested in their products, services or solutions.

David Axiotis, Managing Director of the ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA organiser, says:

"We are delighted to introduce this platform, which transforms the way business is conducted at our show, shifting from chance encounters to strategic, pre-arranged meetings. It gives our community a powerful tool to maximise their time and return on investment."

Three options for professional buyers

The ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 buyer programme is structured into three options:

  • Standard Buyers: Aimed at importers, wholesalers, distributors, food processors and HoReCa professionals, with free access to the three-day exhibition, the Asiafruit Knowledge Centre sessions and the matchmaking platform.
  • Premium Buyers: Includes, in addition to the previous benefits, exclusive access to the Buyer’s Lounge.
  • Retailer’s Club: Designed for buyers from global and regional retail chains, with additional services such as a VIP Welcome Reception on 1 September, speed dating sessions with pre-selected suppliers, a digital subscription to Asiafruit Magazine and a complimentary pass to FRUIT LOGISTICA Berlin 2027.

The organisers expect more than 5,000 international buyers from regions including China, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, the Middle East, the Americas, Europe and Africa. The trade fair will feature confirmed exhibitors from more than 30 countries and an offering covering fresh fruit and vegetables, machinery and technology, logistics and cold chain, packaging and agritech innovations.

Asiafruit Knowledge Centre

In addition to the exhibition area, ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 will feature the Asiafruit Knowledge Centre, a content hub powered by Asiafruit Magazine that will include Asiafruit Congress, Asiafruit Business Forum and Asiafruit Showcase.

Trade visitors who are not part of the buyer programme will be able to purchase tickets online at early bird rates. According to information provided by the organisers, early registration will be available until 28 August.
