Interko, a company specialised in the design, manufacture and installation of fruit ripening systems, will once again be present at Fruit Logistica as a meeting point for fresh produce operators interested in optimising their ripening processes.
Founded in 1968, Interko develops solutions aimed at improving ripening uniformity, process control and energy efficiency for fruits such as bananas, avocados, mangoes and papayas. The company has installed more than 6,000 ripening rooms worldwide, adapted to different volumes and operational requirements.
Interko’s portfolio ranges from compact and straightforward systems to large-capacity ripening rooms for distribution centres, with configurations designed to meet the specific needs of importers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Its solutions allow operators to work with different fruit volumes while ensuring precise control of key variables such as airflow, temperature and humidity, with the aim of improving final fruit quality and reducing losses.
Among its developments are systems designed for homogeneous ripening of large volumes, solutions that allow independent pallet-by-pallet ripening, and turnkey options aimed at operations seeking flexibility and simplicity in daily management.
During Fruit Logistica 2026, Interko will be located in Hall 1.2 | Stand D-40, together with Fresh Produce Instruments. The company’s team invites industry professionals to sit down and exchange ideas on ripening, pre-cooling and degreening, as well as on practical strategies to improve fruit quality while keeping energy consumption and operating costs under control.
Interested parties are welcome to arrange a meeting in advance or simply visit the stand to engage in a direct and technical conversation tailored to their current ripening needs.
