As in previous editions of the show in Berlin, PRODUCTOS CITROSOL SA, a company dedicated to the control and investigation of postharvest physiological disorders of fruit and vegetables in order to maintain produce freshness and its safety for consumption, will be present in the halls of Fruitlogistica 2014. Dr. Benito Orihuel, CEO of the company, states that CITROSOL having its own stand at the show is almost a must, in order to meet and work with an ever growing number of customers. At this year´s show, the new Citrocide P®PC System  for washing peppers will be presented internationally for the first time. The system creates a real barrier for any cross contamination that may threaten food security or cause post-harvest rotting of the product. CITROSOL will also release new waxes and other products recently registered in several countries. The company will have then more tools to add to its postharvest solutions. Some of the new registered products are citrus coatings, which are still highly relevant for growers and traders who export their fruit to distant markets. The quality and good performance of waxes is even more critical in this type of shipment. Due to good arrivals at destination of citrus freights treated with CITROSOL products, the brand has become synonymous with quality and value-creation. And the ZERO SPILLAGE®SYSTEM® continues to attract interest not only as an environmental tool but also to maintain constant maximum efficiencies in rot control. The system keeps the concentration of fungicide mixtures in drencher and water tank stable, achieving thus much more homogeneity in the residue load  of treated produce. Customers can then safely meet the specific requirements of supermarkets regarding levels of residues for postharvest fungicide. Summing up,  we have many good expectations for this year 2014 regarding new projects, new markets, more products and formulations. We will be able to better support our customers in solving their postharvest problems. And a good occasion for starting or deepening our good cooperation is the trade show Fruit Logistica in Berlin.
