New Packhouse in Huesca with State-of-the-Art Cooling Technology

ISOFRED carries out the installations for a new packinghouse in Zaidín, Huesca, boosting the growth of the fruit sector in the region. David Tomás, Head of the Technical Department at ISOFRED, explains: "We are proud to announce the launch of a new packinghouse in the Zaidín area, located in the province of Huesca. This remarkable facility marks a significant step forward in the development of the stone fruit industry, reinforcing the production and distribution chain of fresh and highest-quality products." The company has been responsible for conducting the study, assembly, and implementation of the cooling system for the new horticultural and fruit packinghouse, dedicated to working with seasonal fruit. There are a total of four cooling chambers, one of which is a pre-cooling antechamber to ensure the fruit enters the main chambers at the ideal temperature. Cutting-Edge Technology for Fruit Preservation The Fruit Center is equipped with cutting-edge technology that ensures optimal preservation of stone fruits. In its initial phase, the installation features three state-of-the-art cooling chambers, each with a storage capacity of up to 40 tons of fruit daily. Committed to the Environment In line with Isofred sustainability philosophy, all the chambers of the Fruit Center operate with eco-friendly refrigerants. This choice not only ensures efficient and safe cooling for the fruits but also demonstrates our strong commitment to environmental protection and reducing the carbon footprint. Energy Efficiency and Service Power The Zaidín packinghouse has a service power of 450 kW, ensuring optimal operation of the cooling chambers and precise temperature control to preserve the freshness and quality of the fruits. The equipment and refrigerants used guarantee the optimal operation of the chambers, energy savings, and environmental preservation. Furthermore, thanks to the incorporation of energy-efficient technologies, the processes will be more sustainable. Specifically, they will reduce energy consumption and contribute to environmental preservation. ISOFRED Leading the Future of Industrial Cooling ISOFRED reaffirms its position with solutions in industrial cooling, committed to innovation and sustainability.
