See you in two weeks

Postharvest.biz and Poscosecha.com will be on vacation until August 18. We’ll return recharged and ready to continue our mission of sharing and promoting both current and potential solutions for maintaining the quality of fruits and vegetables (and occasionally, ornamental species too).

As soon as we’re back, some key events and projects on the horizon include:

• On September 11, the "IV Jornada Poscosecha de Cítricos"
• The e-book "Cultivo, poscosecha, procesado y comercio del pistacho"
• The release of “Postharvest Innovations 2025”, an online (and potentially printed) publication that will take the place of the Postharvest News Directory 2024 
• Preparations for the 2026 Postharvest Course, which will be the ninth edition and, like the eighth,  VIII Curso de Tecnología Poscosecha, will be held from late January to early March, on Thursday and Friday afternoons

These initiatives, particularly the Citrus Conference and the Postharvest Course, were originally launched by our former colleague Claudia Conesa, in collaboration with IVIA and ETSIAMN-UPV. We are committed to continuing them with the same dedication and quality, and appreciate your understanding during this transition phase.

Our company, SPE3 (Specialists in Editorial Production), also manages the following web portals:

• Tecnología Hortícola, focused on horticultural production
• ACTUAL FruVeg, dedicated to healthy eating
• Agenda, your source for fairs, congresses, and technical events where you can also upload your own
• Biblioteca de Horticultura, with thematic articles and free-to-download online books

We’re also working on updates across several of these platforms, especially on Tecnología Hortícola, which we hope to unveil soon with a more modern and dynamic format.
