Urschel will participate in ProPak Vietnam, taking place from March 31 to April 2 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), where it will present two cutting solutions designed for high-capacity applications in the processing of fruits, vegetables, and other food products.
At the event, the company will exhibit the Sprint 2 Dicer with integrated conveyor and the MicroAdjustable SL-14 Cutting Head, both aimed at improving processing efficiency and operational performance in production lines.
The Sprint 2 Dicer enables continuous two- or three-dimensional cutting, supporting uninterrupted production. The system allows adjustments to slice thickness, crosscut, and circular knife spindles, enabling a wide range of cut sizes and shapes such as dices, strips, or granulations. In addition, the integrated conveyor belt ensures a controlled and efficient product discharge, helping to reduce product loss during processing.
The SL-14 Cutting Head features 14 cutting stations, offering higher capacity compared to conventional slicing systems. Its design includes micro-adjustability and a quick-clamping mechanism that allows fast knife changes with minimal tools and without removing the cutting head from the machine. These features provide flexibility for different processing requirements while maintaining precision and reducing downtime.
