In cold chain logistics, the loading area is one of the most sensitive points in the process. In just a few minutes, there is a concentration of goods movements, people traffic, and the risk of heat loss. In this environment, having safe and well-integrated equipment is key to maintaining energy efficiency and the quality of fresh products.
With this objective in mind, SOCAFNA, a company specializing in the transport and cold storage of fruit and vegetables, has entrusted ANGEL MIR International with equipping one of its logistics centers in France. The project reinforces the safety, insulation, and operational continuity of the docks, incorporating technology adapted to the demands of the fruit and vegetable sector.
The project includes the installation of 12 KA HIDRA hydraulic ramps, which allow the truck doors to be opened from inside the building and reduce temperature loss during each maneuver. The system is completed with 12 AB ALU SIGNAL SHELTER dock shelters, which seal the perimeter between the vehicle and the dock and facilitate alignment using light signals.
The complex also has 12 sectional doors with 80 mm sandwich panels, a 40 mm micro-profiled door, and TC-500, TC-450, and TM 500.300 protective bumpers that absorb impacts caused by vehicles during approach. To ensure smooth operation, a MIRZIP MARKET high-speed door, which is self-repairing after an impact, and a CORFIRE EI-120 fire door, which divides the logistics areas and offers up to 120 minutes of fire resistance, have been installed.
The work carried out by ANGEL MIR combines leveling, sealing, and technical closure to optimize energy efficiency and safety in refrigerated environments. The precision of the coupling and insulation of the assembly reduces heat exchange in each operation, while the structural protection elements extend the useful life of the facilities.
Throughout its history, the company has developed technologies that complement this type of project, such as the Calematic system, which automatically immobilizes vehicles during loading and unloading, and the Isoperfect system, which allows truck doors to be opened inside refrigerated areas without loss of temperature. These solutions are integrated with high-speed doors, inflatable shelters, or safety barriers to create safer, more efficient, and more sustainable logistics environments.
With projects such as SOCAFNA, ANGEL MIR reaffirms its commitment to innovation and quality in the design of logistics infrastructures. Its experience in developing tailor-made solutions for the agri-food and cold storage industry makes it a benchmark in the continuous improvement of loading and unloading processes, providing reliability, efficiency, and thermal control throughout the supply chain.
