DECCO is taking part as a sponsor of the Universitat Politècnica de València’s 9th Postharvest Technology Course, organised together with ETSIAMN and Poscosecha.com. This edition runs from 21 January to 6 March 2026. As part of the programme, Enrique Gómez delivered a presentation related to coatings for fruit and vegetables, addressing their role as a technological tool within postharvest handling.
The session framed coatings as a process element with a direct impact on storage performance and market quality, beyond external appearance alone, linking formulation and application decisions to the final outcome throughout the postharvest chain.
Enrique Gómez brings professional experience in postharvest technology and formulation, including fungicides, detergents, disinfectants, emulsions and coatings. According to the CV provided by the organisers, his background also includes postgraduate training in chemical and chemical engineering disciplines, polymers, agri food sciences and business management, alongside teaching activity and technical publications in his field.
The course organisers expressed their thanks to DECCO for sponsoring the 9th UPV Postharvest Technology Course, support that helps sustain this technical training year after year.
