Murcia to host a new edition of PostharvestTALKS focused on citrus sector challenges

On May 14, Murcia will host a new edition of PostharvestTALKS, a technical event organized by DECCO that will bring together industry professionals to address the main challenges of the citrus value chain.

The event will feature the participation of companies such as Maf Roda, Hispatec, and UPL, as well as the collaboration of leading organizations such as Ailimpo. The program will also include contributions from academic experts from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and the Miguel Hernández University.

Throughout the day, key aspects affecting the quality and competitiveness of the sector will be analyzed, from field management to postharvest handling and commercialization, with the aim of optimizing each stage until the fruit reaches the final consumer while maintaining quality.

PostharvestTALKS is consolidating itself as a platform for knowledge exchange among companies, researchers, and professionals, fostering discussion on current and future challenges in the fruit and vegetable sector.
