Expo FoodTech, the leading technology trade fair for the food and beverage industry, will be held in Bilbao for the third consecutive year

Expo FoodTech will present the latest developments of its sixth edition on April 29 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC). The trade fair will take place on May 27–28 alongside Pick&Pack for Food Industry, in a new edition where solutions for the food and beverage industry will be showcased. The event will bring together more than 8,000 professionals, 250 exhibiting companies and 300 national and international experts.

Technological innovation in food production

During the event, innovations in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, IIoT, blockchain and robotics applied to food production plants will be showcased.

Processing, packaging and logistics solutions

In addition, Pick&Pack for Food Industry will present solutions in processing systems, packaging, logistics robotics, transport, traceability, supply chain, labeling and coding, as well as new packaging materials.

Food 4 Future World Summit

The event will also host the Food 4 Future World Summit, considered the largest European congress on food innovation, where the latest trends in food production will be presented.

More than one hundred industrial case studies from companies already implementing solutions to improve efficiency, automation and sustainability will also be shared.

With the celebration of both events, Bilbao will become the meeting point for the technological week of the food industry, with the BEC as the venue for showcasing technological solutions and industry case studies.
