Postharvest, poscosecha, postcosecha, cortadoras, cutters As leading manufacturer of preserved pickels in Germany, Carl Kühne KG situated in Hamburg,  has offered its customers high quality products for almost 10 generations. In the beginning of this year, a new FAM cutting machine model FAM ILC.2 has been put into service at the Schweinfurt plant after successful test runs. At the factory, the high capacity precision cutting machines rank among the most important technical equipment. The new FAM ILC.2 is a high capacity dicer that produces clean cut strips and dices of the most diverse products. Andreas Vecqueray, 2nd. picture, head of the technical department at Carl Kühne in Schweinfurt, is very pleased with the decision in favor of the FAM ILC.2. "The capacity per hour strongly depends on the product to be cut, but usually reaches between 4 and 8 tons/hour. We pursue a perfect cut quality, and that is exactly what the FAM ILC.2 offers." "An additional asset is the excellent price-capacity ratio. Moreover we find the professional support of the FAM Service team very important," explains mister Vequeray. He was also looking for an easy-to-clean and maintenance-friendly machine. "With the complete separation of the product zone and the drive zone, FAM definitely has a sound concept. The hinged safety covers of the FAM ILC.2 not only simplify the cleaning and maintenance of the cutting machine, but also the changing of the cutting tools."
