AgroFresh, a leader in post-harvest technologies and solutions, participated in Fruit Attraction 2026, where it showcased its latest innovations designed to help the produce industry optimize product quality, freshness, and shelf life throughout the supply chain.

Among the key highlights presented by AgroFresh at the trade show was SmartFresh™ Sheets, an innovative post-harvest solution selected as a finalist for the Fruit Attraction Innovation Hub Awards in the F&V Industry category. This new solution nearing its launch offers a novel application method for SmartFresh™ technology and addresses the needs of an industry demanding solutions that are increasingly flexible, efficient, and tailored to the diverse realities of the fresh produce supply chain.

Technology and data for more precise decision-making

Innovation and data usage also played a prominent role in AgroFresh’s participation in the Fruit Attraction program.

As part of the Fruit Next 10 event, Alejandro García, AgroFresh’s EMEA Digital Sales Lead, presented the Harvista™ Intelligence Dashboard. Developed in collaboration with Aerobotics, this tool enhances control and precision in decision-making regarding the optimal harvest time.

The solution enables the monitoring of starch levels in apple orchard blocks, providing data that helps growers more accurately assess crop status and determine the ideal timing for Harvista™ application.

Meanwhile, Oscar Coco Salgado, AgroFresh’s Global Category Leader for Grapes, delivered a presentation titled “Connecting Data to Optimize Table Grape Quality.” He discussed the role of technology and data analysis in optimizing table grape quality and in decision-making throughout the post-harvest process.

Innovation driving a more sustainable fruit and vegetable supply chain

AgroFresh’s participation in Fruit Attraction 2026 continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and sustainability as tools for addressing the challenges facing the fruit and vegetable industry.

Through its post-harvest solutions, the company works to help reduce food waste, optimize resource use, and maintain the quality of fruits and vegetables for longer periods.
