Socafna chooses Ángel Mir for its new refrigerated logistics platform

ÁNGEL MIR has carried out a complete planning project, personalized counsel, assembly and launch of the logistic platform of Socafna, a French company specialized in refrigerated transport. At the client's new facilities located in Perpignan (France), different industrial doors and loading dock equipment were required to meet very specific needs in each of the different areas, such as temperature control, sectorization for fire protection or to ensure continuous ventilation in others. After more than 50 years of experience, we know perfectly the requirements for the cold transport sector, and therefore we can offer advice adapted to the client and, most importantly, to supply all the necessary equipment without having to resort to other providers. Thanks to this, Socafna has relied on Angel Mir for the development of this project, which has been successfully completed, ultimately installing 75 complete loading docks (dock shelters, sectional doors, vertical hydraulic loading bridges, security wedges, bumpers, guides and protection posts), 77 sectional doors, 19 fire doors and 6 high-speed self-repairing doors. It should be noted that the loading dock shelters are equipped with the SIGNAL SHELTER led lighting system in order to help carriers during loading/unloading operations when daylight has faded.
