A new facility to drive innovation and fresh produce processing

Sormac has recently opened its new Fresh Experience Center at its headquarters in Venlo, The Netherlands. At this state-of-the-art demonstration and knowledge center, processors and industry partners can discover Sormac's fresh produce processing equipment and test it under real operating conditions.

The 700 m² facility combines a processing room with reception and hospitality areas, conference and meeting rooms. It serves as a hub for machinery demonstrations, product testing, training, and knowledge exchange.

Fresh produce processors can test their own products to evaluate cutting quality, peeling results, handling, capacity, and yield before selecting a solution. Sormac specialists guide these tests and help optimize machine settings. Visitors can also observe how individual machines work together in a complete processing line and how each stage impacts product quality, efficiency, and the final result.

A platform for knowledge sharing

In addition to demonstrations and product testing, the center will host training sessions, seminars, open days, distributor meetings, and other events. Practical and theoretical training will be offered for production managers, machine operators, and technical teams, covering the latest developments, trends, and applications in fresh produce processing.
