Sormac to showcase flexible fresh produce processing solutions at Fruit Attraction 2026

Visitors to stand 10A22 in Pavilion 10 can experience live demonstrations and discuss solutions ranging from flexible stand-alone machines to fully automated processing lines.

As demand for efficient, flexible and high-quality fresh produce processing continues to grow, Sormac is helping processors adapt their operations to changing products, production volumes and market requirements. At Fruit Attraction, the company will demonstrate how advanced processing technology can combine consistent product quality with operational efficiency and ease of use.

Live Cutting Demonstrations

A key focus at the stand will be the FS-3600 slice and wedge cutter, a versatile solution for processors handling different products and cutting formats. The machine produces slices, half slices, wedges, cored wedges, sticks and blocks, with a capacity of up to 4,000 pieces per hour.

Integrated recipe management enables operators to quickly switch between products and cutting requirements, while the quick-change knife system supports flexible day-to-day production. Different conveyor and belt configurations allow the machine to be adapted to specific applications and processing requirements.

Sormac will also demonstrate the BSM-150 belt slicer, designed for precise and consistent cutting of a wide range of vegetables. The machine offers straight, cross, julienne, grated and crinkle cuts and features a 150 mm-wide belt.

With up to 100 programmable recipes, automatic adjustment of the top-belt pressure and intuitive touchscreen operation, the BSM-150 is designed to combine high-quality cutting results with straightforward operation and fast product changeovers.

Alongside its cutting technology, Sormac will present the MC-44/Vario basket centrifuge. Effective removal of excess water after washing is an important step in maintaining the quality of fresh-cut products.

The MC-44/Vario allows processors to precisely control spin speed and drying time for different products. It handles batches of up to 15 kg and offers a capacity of up to 1,000 kg per hour. Up to 100 recipes can be programmed, while the slow start and stop function helps ensure gentle product handling.

The machine is also equipped with Sormac’s patented Basket Lock® system and Magnetic Lid Lock system, the latter backed by a five-year warranty.

Beyond the equipment demonstrated at the stand, Sormac specialists will be available throughout Fruit Attraction to discuss a broad range of processing challenges.
