The versatile and proven machine model FS-3600 by SORMAC impresses with its wide range of cutting options: from sticks or wedges with optional coring; to slices with or without halving cuts - everything is possible. And as always, with a perfect cutting result. In addition to the MultiCut version, we have now introduced the MultiSystem, offering even more options and enhanced capacity.
Combined with simple operation and the quick-change system for the blades, the mobile and open-designed stainless steel frame ensures optimal hygiene and flawless cleaning options, thus completing the machine solution in versatility and user-friendliness.
Karsten Schmitz, who has been Managing Director of the former "Foodcons GmbH & Co. KG" for 20 years, which has now been converted into the newly established German branch "Sormac GmbH", highlights the advancements that have been integrated into the system.
Karsten Schmitz says:
"To further optimize the processing for our customers, many innovations have been implemented. As a result, we can increase the performance of the machine."
The innovations include, among others, the upgraded 10-inch touchscreen with a new appearance, modernized user interface and simplified operation, as well as the new conveyor belts. The latter are now offered as Z-belts with a discharge height of 860 mm for improved ergonomics. Also new is the so-called Cup belt, which allows sliced products to fall directly into cups that hold them together as a whole, allowing for easy removal without falling apart — ideal for delicate products such as tomato slices.
Besides these innovations to the standard MultiCut version, the true highlight is the further development of the FS-3600 into the MultiSystem. This allows the entire processing workflow to be individually designed according to the specific requirements of the operator. The extensions include an optimized touchscreen with automated warning messages, additional functions such as a performance display and counting feature — and above all, increased processing capacity of up to 4,000 products per hour.
Particularly noteworthy is the new direct filling of catering trays, which uses the new sensor-driven product counter to precisely fill the desired number of cut products. With the so-called Tray Belt and the appropriate program selection, all cutting variants can be processed flexibly.
