Post-harvest rot is a pressing problem in the citrus industry. That is why DECCO, which specializes in post-harvest fruit treatment, has released a brochure outlining its solution to this challenge: DECCO Zox, a broad-spectrum fungicide containing azoxystrobin.
DECCO Zox works by interfering with the respiration process of fungi, which slows their growth and reduces the development of any resistances.
Furthermore, it is broad-spectrum, allowing producers to control a wide variety of pathogens that can degrade their fruit using a single product. This, combined with its long-lasting action, allows DECCO Zox to efficiently maintain fruit quality over an extended period.
DECCO Zox has no ARfD (i.e., the amount of fungicide a consumer can ingest over a 24-hour period without adverse health effects), making it a safer option for consumers.
DECCO will participate as a sponsor and speaker at the 5th Citrus Postharvest Conference, organized by Poscosecha.com, IVIA, and AgroBank, which will take place in Valencia on September 17 at AgroBank’s headquarters.
