    The pioneer in circular economy plastic consortium CO.N.I.P. renews the web site

    CO.N.I.P., the Italian National Plastic Packaging Consortium, established 1998 with the aim to reduce environmental impact by recycling changed its web site to better explain its offer. The site explains the aim of the consortium, recycling its own polyolefine secondary and tertiary rigid packaging waste. The "About us" section also explains the governance of the consortium, about the circular economy, and the achievements.     CO.N.I.P. celebrates 20 years contributing to the plastic packaging circular economy

    CO.N.I.P., Consorzio Nazionale Imballaggi in Plastica, the first voluntary association of producers of plastic packaging approved by the Italian Osservatorio Nazionale sui Rifiuti, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The association is made up of producers of containers and pallets, agri-food companies, distribution centers, points of sale, collection platforms, and collection and recycling centers.     The “Use & Recycle” project

    In order to ensure environmental protection and respect the principles of responsability and co-operation ao all the actors involved in the production, distribution, use and consumption of goods which crate waste, CO.N.I.P. promots the “Use & Recycle” project on a National level. The “Use & Recycle” system crates, unlike other system, do not need to be washed because they are new on delivery and there are no logistic costs because CO.N.I.P. thinks of everything. Read more

    Circular Economy by CO.N.I.P., Consorzio Nazionale Imballaggi in Plastica

    CO.N.I.P. implements a closed loop system in which the collection and recycling of plastic crates and pallets generate secondary raw material used in the internal production process. The Consortium, which was formed in 1998 thanks to the Ronchi decree, obtained authorization from the Environment Ministry to manage its own packaging.     The CONSORZIO NAZIONALE IMBALLAGI IN PLASTICA (CO.N.I.P.) has officially published a new website http://www.conip.org, available in two languages: Italian and English.     The report “L’Italia che ricicla 2017” promoted by Fise Unire and Fondazione per lo sviluppo sostenibile (foundation for a sustentable developement), analyzed the situation of Italy with regard to waste management.
